Dakota Johnson's Black Jumpsuit on 'SNL' Featured a Keyhole Cutout That Plunged Down to Her Waist
And don't even get us started on her afterparty look.
Dakota Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live for the second time over the weekend — though, you'd be forgiven to think it was her first go-around. It's been nearly a decade since she initially made her debut back in 2015 while wearing a black tweed minidress, sheer stockings, and leather booties. And while her OG outfit wasn't bad by any means, it lacked the pizazz you'd expect from the actress nowadays.
Making up for the missed fashion opportunity, Johnson took the stage in yet another black look that was anything but boring. For the occasion, she sported a black and backless Tom Ford jumpsuit with a massive keyhole cutout that extended from her neck down her waist, which was clad in a black belt with a gold buckle. Dakota accessorized with a stack of bangles on one wrist, a ring from the jewelry brand Verdure, and a pair of gold hoops. Her dark brunette hair was worn down in loose waves with a center part and her signature bangs brushed across her forehead.
During the show, Johnson poked fun at the Stanley Cup craze, had a Social Network reunion with co-star Justin Timberlake, and gave a shoutout to Taylor Swift as "the most powerful person in America."
And when it came time for the afterparty, Johnson changed into a second jaw-dropping, all-black outfit. Photographed outside the Midtown venue, she wore a sparkly sheer black gown that revealed her matching black undergarments underneath. The Madame Web star paired the maxi-length dress with a faux-fur cropped jacket and a bejeweled black handbag, as well as a pair of black pointed-toe pumps.
