Cynthia Erivo is teasing Wicked fans about what to expect when Wicked: For Good flies into theaters!

When Erivo, 38, visited PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly's red carpet pre-show ahead of the 2025 SAG Awards, the actress said she does think fans of the movie musical can expect a "spicier" flavor to the story told in For Good, which will cover the second half of the iconic Broadway musical.

"I think so; I think you can expect a little bit of spice in the second part because they've grown up a little bit," Erivo said of the character she, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater and more from the movie's cast portray throughout the two-part movie. "They're not in school anymore; they've stepped into their careers and stepped into their choices and we'll see a little bit of spice, I think. For sure. It's necessary."

As for what songs from For Good Erivo expects fans to enjoy as the movie's standout numbers, she said, "I think 'For Good' might have a little something, and maybe 'No Good Deed' might have a little something in it, maybe. One of those."

Erivo, Grande and the rest of the Wicked team are enjoying a victory lap through awards season; the movie is nominated four times at the SAG Awards. "It's been wonderful - people are sort of seeing themselves in this character in Elphaba and I love that people are sort of celebrating their differences and how cool that can be," Erivo added of how audiences have connected with the movie. "It makes me really happy."

Wicked fans will have to wait roughly nine more months before For Good will be released, but Grande, 31, has also been teasing what fans can expect from the next movie.

"Well, it's very special. It's very emotional," she told an audience of the sequel during an appearance at the Santa Barbara International Festival on Feb. 9. "I think the second movie really embodies unconditional love and forgiveness and friendship. And you'll have to wait and see, but it is quite different."

"And you get to see people reap the... bear the repercussions for their choices that they make in movie one," she added. "So if movie one is about choices, movie two is about consequences."
