Critics School Kirk Cameron After Weird Rant About Atheists, Drag Queens And Strippers

Former “Growing Pains” star and Christian evangelical activist Kirk Cameron found himself trending on X on Tuesday after an attack on public schools that included a bizarre claim about what happens to students there.

“If we outsource our parenting because it’s easier or we believe the lie that we’re not qualified experts to educate our kids so we have to subcontract our parenting and discipleship out to the government, we’re gonna have little kids that come back as little Marxists, little statists, little atheists, drag queens, strippers, drug dealers, and you name it,” Cameron, who advocates Christian homeschooling, told podcaster Elizabeth Johnston.

Cameron was honored with four Razzies in a single year for his 2014 bomb “Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas,” which has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

He has more recently encouraged Christians to homeschool their kids and starred in the 2022 movie “The Homeschool Awakening.” That same year, he accused public schools of “grooming for sexual chaos” and “destroying the church.”

In the new interview, he complained about “woke” libraries and made numerous other references to strippers and drag queens. He urged listeners to pull their kids out of public schools and switch to homeschooling, private schools and church educational coops.
