The holidays might be over, but our comfort food cravings are rolling right into 2025. Whether it's KFC's savory hot bowls, Bojangles' cozy cobbler, or Taco Bell's towering nacho fries, we’re hungering for all the warm, satisfying eats to get us through winter.

And now, Cracker Barrel is stepping in with a seasonal menu complete with new, belly-warming bites.

Cracker Barrel Launches Its New Year Menu

This week, Cracker Barrel launched a fresh menu featuring four new dishes inspired by traditional Southern flavors. The additions blend old-school charm with new twists—and look good enough to brave the cold for.

The Crispy Tender Dippers are leading the lineup, offering a fun twist on Cracker Barrel's classic hand-breaded chicken tenders. These tenders are designed for dipping and served with a hot new accompaniment inspired by the restaurant’s Tennessee roots: Nashville hot sauce. If the new offering is anything like the authentic hot sauce you’d find in Music City, it's going to bring some serious heat.

The new duo is already making customers “happy dance,” with fans commenting, "Cannot wait to try!"

"After the holiday hustle, there is nothing better than kicking back with some real, crave-worthy comfort food," said Sarah Moore, Chief Marketing Officer for Cracker Barrel. "Our new Crispy Tender Dippers are the perfect way to enjoy our fan-favorite fried chicken tenders in a whole new way. And with our bold, new Nashville Hot sauce–our spicy twist on a Tennessee classic, inspired by 55 years of tradition–you can turn up the heat and bring some country-style warmth to those chilly winter days."

Moving onto more comfort food, the Signature Saucy Chicken Sandwich is also new to the menu this month. The fried chicken sandwich features a hand-breaded breast on a toasted buttermilk bun, complete with pickles, mayo, and a drizzle of your choice of sauce, whether that be Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, or the new Nashville Hot sauce.

And for a true winter warmer, Cracker Barrel has reimagined its classic Chicken n' Dumplins as a hearty soup. This Southern-style dish combines tender dumplings, shredded chicken, and vegetables in a savory broth—perfect for the season's chilliest days.

If you’re already missing the festive flavors of the holiday menu, don’t worry—the Sparkling Plum Mimosa is sticking around to add some bubbles to your winter brunch.

Cracker Barrel is also keeping things budget-friendly in 2025 with its early dinner deals, available from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Customers can order smaller portions of fan favorites like Chicken n' Dumplins, Meatloaf, and Fried Homestyle Chicken for prices starting at $8.99.

So, if you’re looking for a one-stop shop for southern comfort food this season, we think you’ve found it.
