Courteney Cox Tells Jennifer Aniston 'I Sure Do Love You' in Sweet 55th Birthday Post Featuring Matthew Perry
Cox singled out one of her favorite 'Friends' scenes with Aniston and Perry
Jennifer Aniston got birthday wishes from her favorite Friends.
Courteney Cox shared a sweet tribute — complete with a loving caption and a clip from their iconic 1990s sitcom — for her former costar’s 55th birthday on Sunday. “Not sure why this is one of my favorite clips... I guess it’s because nobody else in the world could make this line sound so cute,” ben Cox, 59.
The post included a video of Aniston's Rachel speaking to Matthew Perry’s Chandler about her beloved seashell lamp that Cox's character Monica "accidentally" broke. Responding to the throwback reference, Aniston cheekily commented on the post: “You BROKE IT!I love you ❤️”
Cox, 59, wrote to her pal: “Happy Birthday my sweet Jenny Louise. Also don’t know why I call her that...but I sure do love you ♥️”

Aniston shared a birthday post herself, which included photos from her decades in (and before) the spotlight.
Sharing that she was “grateful” for another turn around the sun, Aniston posted the poem "The Layers" by Stanley Kunitz: “I have walked through many lives, some of them my own, and I am not who I was, though some principle of being abides, from which I struggle not to stray....” The poem then meditates on life's “journey” at the “milestones” as well as the “horizon” ahead.
Celebrities including Florence Pugh, Sarah Hyland, Juliette Lewis, Jewel and Christina Ricci commented “happy birthday” in response to Aniston’s post.

The week leading up to Aniston’s birthday saw even more Friends fan service when Aniston and her former on-screen love interest David Schwimmer, who played Ross, debuted their Super Bowl 2024 Uber Eats commercial.
The hilarious ad presented Aniston as so forgetful she can't remember Schwimmer, 57. As he tries to hug her, she pushes him away. “Have we met? Give me a hint.”
Schwimmer responds, “We worked together for 10 years.”
Aniston asks, “Ten years?" Then she shrugs it off, "You were great,” clearly still not registering their connection.
Schwimmer jokingly captioned the ad on his Instagram account: “Had so much fun making this with whatshername.”
