Costco Just Dropped Two Delicious New Bakery Items, and Shoppers are Racing to Try Them

By now, you’re probably well aware that Costco’s bakery section tends to turn out some legendary baked goods, and if you’re anything like us, you’ve got a few tried and true favorites that you refuse to hear slandered in any way. And while we’ll never waver on our faves (like their massive pumpkin pie), the thrill of finding delicious new freshly baked sweets waiting on the tables of the warehouse chain's ready-to-devour baked goods section is a feeling unmatched by few other retailers.

Thankfully, if you don’t have the time to suss out what hot new items are headed to your local warehouse or if you simply can’t be bothered to grab anything other than your go-to's, the ever-reliable Costco-focused subreddit is always up to date on what’s fresh out of the oven next. The latest craze-inducing baked good is a twofer you can expect to see popping up at the bulk grocer near you soon enough. And while we don’t have official word, we hope these become a permanent fixture at stores across the nation.

Redditor u/InsideTop3077 shared a few snaps of the the new and delectable looking Blueberries and Cream and Triple Chocolate Muffins and we’ve never been more excited to go grocery shopping. Each muffin flavor comes in a clamshell set of eight and both retail for just $6.99 per container. The rich, decadent triple chocolate offering is studded with chocolate chunks and chips (think: the viral Olympic village muffins), while the blueberries and cream variety features a streusel crumb topping and juicy blueberries throughout.

Despite the fact that the sizable muffins look good enough to eat in photos, the post was met with minimal fanfare save for a few fans who said, “Blueberries and cream sounds good.” Another shopper shared their own hot take saying, “Too big, too sweet, too many you have to buy,” but promptly followed up with, “Enjoy!”

Although taste is purely a matter of preference, we’ll gladly take them up on that offer and give these a try for ourselves. There’s plenty to go around—but you’ll probably want to get your own.
