Color of the Month: Pretty Pistachio Is the Versatile Hue Your Home Needs

It’s time to shellebrate pistachio. The minty sage green may seem like a hard nut to crack, but it’s actually easy to work with. Just ask Chicago-based interior designer Sarah Vaile, who went all in on the color for her client’s living room. She combined it with a bold magenta sofa and black-and-white art for a glam look. You could also get a coastal vibe by bringing in navy blue, or lean into art deco by adding light pink. If you’re not ready to fill the whole room, start small with a chair, lamp, or throw.

Decorating with Pistachio

Above, find some of our favorite pistachio pieces that will add a subtle touch of color to any space. From fancy-looking stemware that's actually made from acrylic (so it's perfect for outdoor entertaining!), to stone coasters to replace your old, stained ones, and a block-printed sheet set that adds personality to your bedding. And don't sleep on that indoor/outdoor pouf! While it may still be chilly outside, this comes in handy for extra seating all year round.

We're also obsessed with the Staub Dutch oven. It might be a little bit more of an investment, but if you take care of it, you'll have it for decades to come. Plus, we love that it's pretty enough to have a permanent place on your stove (if you're short on cabinet space) and can go from oven to table without transferring your food to another serving piece. Happy shopping!
