Coca-Cola's Newest Release Is a Delicious Upgrade of a Fan-Favorite Flavor
Coca-Cola is gearing up for yet another new flavor release, one that made its original debut back in 1905 and has since received a ton of attention online from fans. In an announcement made on Monday, the popular soda company revealed plans to reintroduce Coca-Cola Orange Cream back into the lineup along with a Zero Sugar option to boot.
"Orange Cream is a cultural force. It’s been around since 1905 but has seen a renaissance, with interest growing incrementally over the last 10 years," the Coca-Cola brand explained, citing an increase in Google search data in favor of the flavor. "This flavor was crafted in response to consumer demand for the iconic and nostalgic taste of orange cream."

According to Coca-Cola, the new flavor is a “delicious taste of Coca-Cola infused with refreshing orange and smooth, creamy vanilla flavors" and will “reconnect consumers with a beloved flavor tradition while pushing the boundaries of taste," according to Sue Lynne Cha, Vice President of Marketing at Coca-Cola.
"By blending our iconic Coca-Cola formula with refreshing orange and smooth creamy vanilla flavors, we are introducing an all-new beverage that reimagines the classic Coca-Cola experience. This launch underscores our ongoing commitment to innovation and reimagining classic flavors, and we can’t wait for our fans to try."

Both Coca-Cola Orange Cream and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Orange Cream are slated to hit shelves in the U.S. and Canada on February 10. And if your local retailer doesn’t have them in stock by then, cases will be available for purchase at coca-cola.com, where a countdown marking the release of the flavor can currently be found on the landing page.
The soda giant is obviously no stranger to new flavor releases. Coca-Cola’s freestyle machines recently got a boost of new holiday-themed flavors that sent fans into a frenzy, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. The brand also announced that it would be bringing back Barrilitos, a fan-favorite soft drink from Monterrey, Mexico that first launched in 1938. Here’s hoping Coca-Cola keeps this train rolling towards Flavortown and gives us even more exciting tastes to look forward to.
