Live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the 2024 Country Music Association Awards are ready to honor the most extraordinary acts in country music from the past year, with some celebrity appearances from the world of sports, movies, and everything in between.

Who is hosting the 2024 CMA Awards?
Move over Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning — a new bell-bottom flared queen has joined the party. Lainey Wilson, who last year made history when she became the only artist to ever lead nominations in her first two times on the ballot, will stand alongside Bryan and Manning to host the ceremony this year.
"I could not be more excited to host the CMA Awards this year with Luke and Peyton. It's such an incredible honor and something I've always dreamed of doing. We're planning a really great show for y'all, so make sure to watch on Nov. 20," said Wilson in a press release.
Who is nominated at the 2024 CMA Awards?
This year's nominees list is led by Wallen, who received seven nominations in categories including the coveted entertainer of the year award and male vocalist of the year.
Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson both earned five nominations, while Post Malone and Lainey Wilson scored four each.
Multiple stars, including Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves, Combs, and producer/songwriters Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, and Hoskins, received three nominations for their respective categories.
Absent from the list was Beyoncé, who earlier this year became the first Black woman to ever top the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with Cowboy Carter and the Hot Country Songs chart with her track "Texas Hold 'Em."

Bryan, Wilson, Dierks Bentley, Sierra Hull, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, Ashley McBryde, Post Malone, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, Teddy Swims, Thomas Rhett and Molly Tuttle round out the list of performers.

Who is receiving the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 CMA Awards?
The Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, which was first introduced in 2012, is given to "an iconic artist who has attained the highest degree of recognition in country music."
Receiving the honor this year is George Strait, who Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer described in a statement as "authentically Texas and authentically country."
"As a three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year and the most nominated artist of all time, he serves as an inspiration and icon to many of the great, new artists we know today. I am thrilled we are awarding him with this deserving honor," she said.

The 58th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 20 on ABC. It streams the following day on Hulu. Ahead of the show, there will be a preshow streaming on Hulu and OnTheRedCarpet.com starting at 6 p.m.
