Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber Play Dress-up Hosting Zara’s Shoppable Livestream

Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber hosted Zara’s shoppable livestream on Wednesday, with stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele dressing the mother-daughter duo in a flurry of looks, which were available to purchase in real-time.

The collection, which ranges from cozy basics, such as knit cashmere sweaters, cotton T-shirts and straight-cut jeans, to a glitzy gold blazer and waxed cape, is priced from $17.90 for a pair of long socks to $349 for a leather jacket.

Called Zarastreaming, the David Lowery-directed broadcast opened with the pair driving to a photo shoot for the collection. Gerber was behind the wheel, and the two bantered about her driving prowess before belting out Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck Babe!”

Gerber recently paid tribute to her supermodel mother at the premiere of “Shell” during the Toronto International Film Festival. The model-actress, who costars in the film alongside Kate Hudson, Elisabeth Moss and Elizabeth Berkley, wore a recreation of the Hervé Léger dress her mother wore to the 1993 Academy Awards.

The livestream came a day before Zara announced the launch date of its one-off Stefano Pilati collection. The collection is set to go land in-stores and online globally on Oct. 3.

On Thursday, the Spanish retailer hosted an event during Paris Fashion Week to unveil the collection and the campaign by Steven Meisel, which features Pilati modeling the menswear and Gisele Bündchen decked in the womenswear.

The Stefano Pilati collection draws on Pilati’s personal style and career designing for brands, including Yves Saint Laurent, Ermenegildo Zegna, as well as his upstart project Random Identities.

WWD broke the news of the collaboration in an exclusive report on Sept. 3.
