Chuck Norris' Mom Wilma Dead at 103

Chuck Norris shared a sad update with his fans on Friday, taking to social media to announce that his mom, Wilma (Scarberry) Norris, is dead at 103.

On Dec. 6, the Walker, Texas Ranger star shared the news and a touching tribute with his Instagram followers.

"Wednesday morning, my brother Aaron and I’s wonderful mother went home to be with Jesus," Norris wrote. "Our mom was a woman of unwavering faith, a beacon of light in our lives, and her love reflected God’s grace."

The post's featured image showed Norris and his mother sitting in chairs while leaning together for the photo. In the sweet snap, Wilma's hand rested on her son's arm. Other pictures showed her alone and with family members through the years.

"Growing up, her laughter filled our home with joy, and her hugs provided a sense of safety that we will forever cherish," Norris continued. "She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special, often putting the needs of others before her own. From my earliest memories, she taught me the importance of kindness and compassion."

The bereaved son concluded his Instagram tribute by writing, "I am so thankful for the countless lessons she shared, the prayers she lifted for us, and the way she embodied the love of Christ every day. We love you, Mom. Until we meet again."

In the comments, followers expressed condolences for Norris' loss.

"So sorry to hear @chucknorris," one wrote, while another shared, "😢 she’s the 🐐 . My condolences to you chuck and your family 💔."

Someone else commented, "Chuck, our hearts and thoughts are with you and your family."
