Christine Brown Jokes Her Racy Lap Dance for David Woolley at Their Wedding Was a ‘Bit Much’ For Some Guests
The 'Sister Wives' star tied the knot with husband David Woolley on Oct. 7 in Moab, Utah
Christine Brown didn’t hold back on her big day!
During the second part of TLC's Christine & David’s Wedding Special on Sunday, the Sister Wives star, surprised guests and her new husband David Woolley with a racy dance during the couple’s Moab, Utah, nuptials back in October, 2023.
But according to Christine, 51, the moment during their reception was completely spontaneous.
“We’re in a group of people and I hear this guy yell out ‘daddy,’” Christine recalled to cameras. “I see this big guy running towards David and jumped in his arms, wrapped his legs around him and David is just laughing the whole time. He was like, ‘Jared.’ And I’m like ah, this is Jared.”
Woolley explained that Jared is a longtime friend who grew up in the same neighborhood.
“He likes to enjoy life,” Woolley said of his friend who straddled him in front of the crowd. “He’s not afraid to just let loose. That’s Jared for you. Next thing you know Christine is like, 'It’s my turn!'”
Christine added: “He motioned to me to come over and I was up for the challenge. I was like, 'Wait a minute if he can dance with [David] like that, so can I.'"
As the couple reflected on the lap dance, Christine recalled seeing the reaction of the newlywed's friends and family.
“The best was looking over and seeing Janelle’s face and my mom’s face," she said. "I didn’t realize my mom was right there. And then all of our kids were right there. I guess it was a bit much for some of them but I didn’t care!”
Brown was previously one of four women in polygamous marriage to Kody Brown along with wives Janelle, Meri and Robyn. They split in 2021 after 25 years together. She and Kody are parents to daughters Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 20, Truely, 13, and son Paedon, 25.

“It’s hard to believe she was raised so religious for so many years because that was….,” Wooley’s son-in-law Corbin told cameras with a laugh. “I think they kind of forgot people were there!”
Janelle added that while the lap dance was “a little weird” for her, “whatever it’s their wedding," she said. "Whatever was going on between them, it’s great!”
Ahead of her nuptials, Brown told PEOPLE in an earlier interview that marrying Woolley — whom she met on a dating app in October 2022 — was a "fairytale" for her.
“It's everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”
