Christina Hendricks Found Her Something Blue with Christian Siriano Rehearsal Dinner Dress: See the Gorgeous Gown
The designer shared a behind-the-scenes look at Hendricks' wedding weekend wardrobe
Christina Hendricks gave her friend Christian Siriano an important task during her wedding weekend — designing her something blue!
Siriano, 38, debuted the gown in an Instagram post about the Good Girls alum's rehearsal dinner which she exclusively told PEOPLE was a welcome cocktail party held at a mini-mansion on the Soniat House property in New Orleans.
The fashion designer created a stunning azure blue, floral printed gown for the actress. The gown had a mermaid-style skirt with a short side train and statement off-the-shoulder sleeves.
"I got to dress my beautiful friend @actuallychristinahendricks on her wedding weekend and WOW it was so magical in New Orleans filled with love and glamour! #sundayglamour," Siriano wrote in the caption of a carousel of images and videos of Hendricks in the dress.
The Mad Men star married camera operator George Bianchini on Saturday, April 20 at the historic Napoleon House in the Big Easy in front of 76 guests including Siriano, Mad Men creator Matt Weiner and her former Good Girls costars Mae Whitman and Retta. The couple had been dating since 2020.
"It was divine. So good to spend time with you fellas. Best brunch laughs!" Retta commented on Siriano's post.

"The most beautiful ❤️," Busy Philipps also commented.

In a post on the official Garbage Instagram account, Manson, 57, shared a selfie with Siriano, joyously sticking out her tongue.

Manson also detailed just how far the former Project Runway star went to ensure Hendricks looked and felt flawless in his creation.
"You are an artist of immense skill and it was a thrill to see you rummage under @actuallychristinahendricks skirt to ensure she shined like the queen she is. Respect to that. Not everyone is willing to go to such lengths," the singer wrote in part of the caption.
Hendricks previously told PEOPLE that the dress for the cocktail party was “spectacular” and a "red carpet moment that was not on a red carpet."
