Christie Brinkley Blushes as Ex Billy Joel Serenades Her With 'Uptown Girl'

This old flame still burns.

Decades after their divorce, Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel's relationship is still the thing of romance novels.

The old flames, who have been separated for 30 years, shared a sweet, nostalgic moment on Friday during Joel's concert at his "office," Madison Square Garden.

In a video posted to TikTok, the Sports Illustrated model grins ear to ear while dancing to her ex-husband belting out his catchy 1983 hit song "Uptown Girl." To complement her radiant smile, Brinkley wore a dazzling metallic blue button-down shirt.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Joel's ex-girlfriend Elle Macpherson shared the singer started writing "Uptown Girl" while they were an item and living together. However, midway through the process, they broke up, and Joel started dating Brinkley instead. From there, Brinkley became the subject of the bop and even starred in the official music video.

In another special moment from the night, which Brinkley shared on Instagram, the couple's daughter Alexa Ray joined her father on stage to sing "Say Goodbye to Hollywood."

"Thanks for singing us a song @billyjoel and @alexarayjoel You’ve got us feeling alright! Just a few snippets from a magical evening at the garden!" Brinkley wrote in the caption.

Joel and Brinkley tied the knot on March 23, 1985, and welcomed Alexa Ray on December 29, 1985. After nine years of marriage, they called it quits in 1994. Brinkley later married Richard Taubman in 1994 before splitting in 1995, and then Peter Cook in 1996 before splitting in 2008. Joel, meanwhile, was married to Katie Lee from 2004 to 2009 before marrying Alexis Roderick, who he is still with today.
