Chrissie Swan and Poh Ling Yeow's surprising admission: 'I ate it'
The reality TV stars reunited for Chrissie's new radio show.
Chrissie Swan made waves last year when she announced she would be leaving breakfast radio, revealing that she signed a deal with Nova Entertainment to host her own national radio show. The star, 49, officially launched The Chrissie Swan Show on Monday, and has already chatted to Australian Idol’s Ricky-Lee and Today’s Sarah Abo.
On Wednesday, MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow appeared on the show to talk about her new cookbook called What I Cook When Nobody’s Watching. The pair played a game based on the title, sharing what they liked to eat in secret.
Chrissie admitted to enjoying smoked oysters straight from a can, and an interesting combination of polenta, cream and maple syrup. Poh decided to come clean and shocked Chrissie with her own candid confession.
“Can I tell you something?” she asked sheepishly. “In the book right, there’s a page called ‘Not Ashamed Of’, and then I’ve got a list.
“One of the things on the list is chocolate for breakfast,” Poh finished, before erupting into laughter.

In a strange coincidence, Chrissie couldn’t wait to show Poh what she had eaten for breakfast that morning.
“Oh my god. I’m not even joking…I’m going into my fanny pack,” she said, while rummaging through her bag. “I’ve got a little Raffaelo,” Chrissie exclaimed, proudly showing off the chocolate.
“And it did have a sibling, but I ate it for breakfast.”
After Chrissie shared the video on Instagram, Poh added that she loves to eat ice cream for breakfast as well. “Thank you for having me on as your very first live guest. So honoured and so much fun,” she commented.
Fans flocked to the comment section to praise the stars for their relatable breakfast choice, with many saying there wasn’t anything wrong with eating chocolate for an early meal.
“If there is chocolate in the fridge, it is definitely on the breakfast menu,” one fan wrote.
“Absolutely nothing wrong with that! At 53 I still have Coco Pops for breakfast,” another admitted.
“Whatever gets you through the morning. Don’t be ashamed,” a third chimed in.
“I’m all for chocolate at any time of the day,” another remarked.
