The Melbourne premiere of Grammy-winning musical Hamilton drew a star-studded guest list on Thursday night.
The Bachelorette’s Brooke Blurton, Australian Of The Year Dylan Alcott, singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and comedian Celia Pacquola, were among the familiar faces watching the performance, but our favourite look of the night came from Chrissie Swan.
The 38-year-old radio host absolutely dazzled in a form-fitting midi length dress with a dramatic Egyptian-inspired print.
Designed by Australian label Anna Antal and retailing for $1,941, the unique, stretch velvet frock features a high neckline, long sleeves, and a scarab beetle detail across the waist.
Chrissie, who will be filling in for Carrie Bickmore on The Project next month, paired her dress with pendant earrings from Chelsea De Luca and a low heeled pair of black sandals.
Unsurprisingly, the look was a massive hit amongst her friends and fans on Instagram, many of whom were quick to sing her praises.
Packed To The Rafters star Rebecca Gibney wrote, “Great frock - gorgeous girl,” while Zoe Foster Blake said, “Her majesty’s outfit more like”.
It was a hit among her less famous followers too, with others saying, "Just beautiful, you are such an inspiration," "Ah, you look amazing," "Sensational!" and "Stunning, you must be so proud of yourself."
Opening up about how Melbourne’s covid lockdowns prompted her to go on a fitness kick, Chrissie told the Australian Women’s Weekly last month that she tries to fit in a two hour walk every day.
“We couldn't go out to dinner, we couldn't go to a friend's house, they couldn't come to us, we couldn't go outside five kilometres,” she said of the 112-day lockdown, “All we could do was walk, and so that's what I did.”
She also quit drinking last year and swears by using meditation to help improve her physical and mental health, particularly during lockdown.

While definitely not as sumptuous as Chrissie's $2,000 designer dress, this patterned number from Never Fully Dressed has a very similar silhouette and a groovy, disco-themed print.
It also retails for only $178.
Meanwhile this luxurious flower-print midi from Rebecca Vallance is currently reduced by 56 percent at The Outnet, bringing it down to $304.
