Chris Hemsworth gets snubbed by Leonardo DiCaprio

Chris Hemsworth and Leonardo DiCaprio are two of the most famous actors in the world, so you’d assume they’d ump into each other from time to time – after all, Chris’ bestie Matt Damon is also buddies with Leo.

But unfortunately for Chris, he’s been snubbed by the Titanic star, and not just once, but twice.

Leo gives Chris the cold shoulder

The Aussie actor’s personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, recalled the snub while speaking on Nova FM’s Fitzy and Wippa Show.

“Poor Chris. We were on a press tour for Thor 2,” he explained. “We were in Japan, we were staying at the Ritz Carlton and DiCaprio was there with his whole posse.”

Chris plucked up the courage to reach out to Leo’s publicist to hopefully grab a beer with him, but unfortunately he never received a reply.

Snubbed a second time

A couple of days later, the 35-year-old saw Leo in the lobby of the hotel and attempted to catch his attention.

“I remember Chris waving and I remember turning and DiCaprio’s marching through the lobby with 15 dudes and he just walked straight past Chris,” Luke explained to the radio duo.

“I turned to Chris and I was like, ‘Oh this is so awkward right now.’ He’s like, ‘Oh God.'”

To be honest, our reactions would be the exact same.

Oh dear, oh dear.

Perhaps Chris just needs to pluck up the courage and use his connections with Matt to organise a beer session.
