‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Production Designer Lisa Soper to Direct Second Feature ‘Remind Me,’ Starring Eric Johnson and Adam Copeland (EXCLUSIVE)
Lisa Soper, renowned for her production design work on shows such as “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Peacemaker” and her shift towards TV directing with “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” and “Riverdale,” has set her second feature film as director.
“Remind Me,” currently in pre-production, will be led by Eric Johnson, known for the “Fifty Shades” franchise, “Smallville” and “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.” Johnson will be joined by former WWE wrestling icon Adam Copeland — who now wrestles for AEW and is the better known by his wrestling moniker Edge — whose move into acting saw him recently appear in Disney+ Series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.”

A drama about a man who wakes up with no memory of how his wife ended up in a coma and who must search for truth and his own identity, “Remind Me” was written by Andrew Rai Berzins. The production team includes Shane Boucher of 1Department Entertainment Services Inc., Eric Johnson of Process Entertainment, and Soper’s own company, Dixii Darkmagic Productions.
“This film isn’t safe,” said Soper. “Sure, you can look at some major points and say, ‘guy defends house from intruders while suffering from memory loss.’ These are facts, but not the feels. I want you to feel what I feel when I read this and feel how I feel while making this.”
“Remind Me,” described as a “significant milestone in Soper’s career,” will be shot in early 2025 in Ottawa.
Soper previously directed the acclaimed short film, “Have a Good Day,” which has screened at film festivals, including selections at Chicago Horror Film Festival with nominations for best monsters and best cinematography, Romford Film Festival with nominations for best actress and a win for best cinematography, and Apex Film Festival with a nomination for best horror. The film was also selected for several other festivals such as Fortean Film Festival, Gencon Film Festival and MegaFlix Film Festival.
Soper is represented by Impact24 PR. Copeland is represented by Daniel Abrams at OAZ and Viewpoint PR.
