Chick-fil-A Shakes Up Its Speciality Menu With Seasonal Items and Fans Are ‘Mad’

Chick-fil-A has blown away fans with its diverse range of special fall menu items—but it's not without a catch.

This fall, the fan-favorite fried chicken chain will serve up several sides inspired by classic Thanksgiving dishes, new takes on traditional fall desserts and drinks that'll put a festive pep in your step all season long.

Customers with a sweet tooth can take their pick from decadent desserts—a Fried Peach Pie, Banana Pudding and Sweet Potato Souffle—as well as a handful of sensational sips featuring bright and comforting flavors, like its Cran-Lime Lemonade, Frosted Pineapple, Pineapple Nut Milkshake and Frosted Hawaiian. Other delicious snack options include Crispy Sprouts, Fried Okra, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and Cornbread.

As for that catch, well, you can only order any of the above menu items exclusively at participating Chick-fil-A Truett's locations or one of four Georgia establishments dedicated to the life and legacy of Truett Cathy, the late CEO and founder of the restaurant chain.

In response to a graphic that food blogger Snackbetch shared over the weekend, promoting nearly a dozen seasonal additions recently added to select Chick-fil-A menus, fans let the chain know how they really feel about the limited-edition items not being launched nationwide.

"I’m so lucky to live here 😭🙏🏻 the original chick fil a now has a brown butter marshmallow bar and an iced pumpkin pie latte!" one top-liked Instagram response read.

"We need all of them Nationwide!" someone else declared.

"Literally all and any of it 😍," a third joked.

"I’m mad that they don’t have these selections everywhere," another lamented—and according to those who have tried some of the menu options, the anger is justified as the limited releases are "really good."

"The souffle is really good," a different fan admitted. "It was better [than] I expected."

But if you don't live near a Truett's location or plan to take a road trip to Georgia anytime soon, you're not out of luck, as the "best" milkshake flavor is returning to menus everywhere ahead of this winter.
