Charli XCX Goes Bold With Dramatic Opacity in Sheer Dilara Fındıkoğlu Dress for Brit Awards 2025 Red Carpet

LONDON — No need to guess the color of Charli XCX’s underwear at the 2025 Brit awards in London on Saturday night.

The singer sported a sheer black dress from Dilara Fındıkoğlu’s fall 2025 collection, which revealed that she was wearing black underwear and a nude corset underneath. She accessorized with sparkly silver jewelry and black pumps. Her coolly witchy hair and makeup, wavy dark tresses peeking out from a hood and bronze lipstick, winked to the inspiration of the Turkish-born designer’s collection: a dream of goddesses and beautiful monsters.

Titled “Venus from Chaos,” the otherworldly collection saw models dressed in shells, safety pins and pearls; sheer Victorian undergarments, and a leather dress moulded onto the models’ breasts and derriere.

“Fashion is not how it used to be anymore — there needs to be more fantasy. I wish people pushed boundaries more — every time I look at a collection on the runways, it looks like the same thing, without shading anybody. Sometimes I really consider if I should just make art,” she told WWD backstage.

Her instructions to the models before they went out were to channel a “medieval rock star,” “moody but ethereal,” and “don’t give a f–k but hypnotic.” Charli XCX channeled that energy, too, particularly at her Grammys performance on Feb. 3.

There, she danced onstage with Julia Fox, Alex Consani and Gabbriette Bechtel, while performing in a full vintage Dior spring 2002 look. The matching denim bra and underwear set, belt and jacket with lace-up detailing came from the collection, nicknamed “Street Chic.” The Grammy winner accessorized with sheer knee-high stockings and black pumps.

Victoria’s Secret and sub-brand Pink outfitted Charli’s crowd with bras and underwear. The lingerie retailer donated 10,000 pairs of panties to the I Support the Girls Foundation in honor of the performance.

Charli XCX took home three Grammys that evening, including Best Dance Pop Recording for “Von Dutch” and Best Dance/Electronic Album for “Brat.”
