It's happening. Friends, the hit show of the 1990s and early aughts, is returning with a long-awaited reunion on new streaming platform HBO Max. On Friday, Jennifer Aniston, aka Rachel Green, confirmed the news on her extremely popular Instagram account. All she wrote was: "It's happening..." Her co-stars announced the news in the same way.

After that, the rest of the Friends-loving internet (a.k.a. most everyone with an Instagram account) seemed to completely lose all common sense and went wild with their responses. Fans celebrated, asked questions, and responded with varied emojis. The funniest reactions, though, were from Aniston's celebrity peers, who turned out to be huge Friends fans, like everyone else.

Just take a quick glance at the Friends star's Instagram comments, and you'll see everyone who's ever walked an awards-show red carpet turning up there to freak out about this update.

Last month, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman was even reluctant to confirm anything and claimed all the details for getting Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross (Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer) back together was "very complicated." All of that complication has clearly been worked out, and Hollywood is happy.

Here's a small sample of how the cast members' fellow A-listers responded to the announcement.

Kate Hudson decided to speak for every human being in the world

"I feel like the whole world just had a collective orgasm," she wrote in response to Aniston's post.
