Celebrities Front Row at Chloé Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear: Sienna Miller, Kiernan Shipka, Jerry Hall and More

WHAT GOES AROUND: To ring in Chemena Kamali’s debut collection for Chloé, it was only fitting that Sienna Miller, the queen of boho chic, should be among the front-row guests.

The British actress may have turned her back at one time on the style that spawned a thousand copies, but even she feels it’s ripe for a revival.

“It was so long ago that it’s become vintage, so I’ve now got all these great things that are very much on trend again and I think it’s why I’m so excited about this show,” she told WWD. “It feels like such a nostalgic throwback to a time that was actually really joyful and creative — and yeah, now I like it.”

Kamali, who previously worked at Chloé under both Phoebe Philo and Clare Waight Keller, channeled their brand of cool-girl chic with her collection of floaty blouses and retro-tinged capes.

Miller, dressed in a boxy black leather jacket, lace-trimmed slip skirt and chunky wedge heels, has seen the brand through several incarnations.

“Every iteration that they’ve been through has been really beautiful and, I think, true to Chloé, which is such a feminine, bohemian brand. I’m already excited by the bits that I’ve borrowed, so I can’t wait to see what’s on the runway,” she said. “It feels like the Chloé that I first fell in love with already.”

A glance down the row revealed that fellow guests including Kiernan Shipka, Thomasin McKenzie and Georgia May Jagger were wearing the same shoes, though only Pat Cleveland could claim they were custom-made.

“I have this shoe with my name on it: it says Pat,” she exclaimed, pointing to the graffiti-style words carved into the heel.

Kamali, who’s obsessed with the late ’70s period when Karl Lagerfeld was creative director of the brand, included the inscription as a tribute to the veteran model, who attended with her model daughter Anna Cleveland and her son-in-law Jefferson Hack.

There was a mini-reunion moment as both Clevelands posed for photos with fellow icon Jerry Hall and her daughter, Georgia May Jagger.

Hall is one of the faces of Kamali’s inaugural campaign. “I was so thrilled and touched, very flattered and surprised. I’ve been doing some old lady modelling lately,” the 67-year-old said with a broad smile.

Jagger said she felt inspired by watching videos of her mother in her modeling heyday.

“It was so fun because she was just dancing around, and there was that real sense of it being more like a theatrical show rather than just regular runway. I love that, I hope it comes back,” she said.

Hall was a vision in camel in head-to-toe new Chloé. “I love these ‘Puss in Boots’ giant boots and they have them in my size, which is very exciting,” she purred.
