Every June, we honor the important historical events in the LGBTQ+ community. Pride Month is all about promoting equality, inclusion, self-affirmation and visibility of LGBTQ+ people, by creating a safe space for people to be who they want to be—and love who they want to love.

What is Pride?
The term "pride" was first used in a Pride march in the wake of the Stonewall Inn riots of 1969—and it's a term that’s become meaningful to the community ever since. Pride events usually involve a series of marches, parades, drag and live performances, music, colorful dresses and omnipresent rainbow flags.
This Pride Month we wanted to highlight the most creative rainbow recipes created by amazing food bloggers around the world. From rainbow cookies, rainbow cakes and rainbow cupcakes, to rainbow pasta, rainbow bagels and rainbow pizza, you'll be able to literally taste the rainbow with these are the best rainbow-themed Pride recipes to celebrate all year long.
We also want to acknowledge that wearing rainbow clothing or making a pride cake isn't enough to support the LGBTQ+ community. An important way you can continue to spread the "love is love" message is to educate yourself and help foster a safe space for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, non-binary, non-conforming and pansexual people.
