Catelynn Lowell Baltierra is opening up about her frustrations as a parent who placed their child up for adoption.

On Monday, Sept. 9, the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star, 32, posted a series of Instagram Stories venting about the tough spot she's in with Carly's parents. Catelynn and her husband Tyler Baltierra — who met in high school and began a relationship in 2005 — have a relationship with their biological daughter Carly, whom they placed for adoption in 2009, but recently, the 15-year-old's parents have allegedly blocked Catelynn.

"Adoption is crazy.. I'm blocked all because of me sending updates and pictures of her sisters.. how is that fair for Carly and her siblings?" Catelynn asks. "It's sad for sure.. But, makes me sad for the kids."

She adds, "When you're a bio mom you have no say. no control..all I can do is show Carly in the future how much I tried and continued to do so... she can make the decision herself to understand who shut who out."

Catelynn then shared a screen recording of herself scrolling through the many ignored text messages with the parents, writing, "Literally ignored for months then just blocked. Hurts my heart for all the kids involved."

"I gave them one of my biggest gifts ever.. A child I grew and love so deeply.. I will not let them take my voice..." she continues in a third slide, adding, "I post so that hopefully Carly will see it and see I have always tried."

"To know I mean nothing to the APs [Adoptive Parents] but just a womb to give a child hurts my heart..." she shares. "I'm a person with feelings, the children I'm parenting have feelings... Carly has feelings.. A child being involved with extra people that only love and support them. How is that threatening? I'll never understand."

Catelynn then explains that she believes Carly's parents feel "scared" and "threatened" of herself, "because Carly would ask questions about why we don't get together more, why we can't just fly to her for a weekend etc."

"I will ALWAYS support Carly loving her parents! They love her and raised her!" she notes, "But the fact that they keep us distant and Carly's siblings distant does not help Carly. anyone would know that if they were adoptee informed."

Some users pushed back on Catelynn's posts, saying that she was putting the parents "on blast." In response, Catelynn posted a fourth Instagram Story, writing, "I love how people say that I'm putting them on 'blast' when I am literally just sharing my own feelings, not calling them any hurtful names or anything."

She adds, "As bio parents we are taught to just take what's given to us and that we should feel 'lucky' but if anything goes wrong, we need to shut up and be quiet. Ok im done for today."

In May, Catelynn shared similar comments as she candidly opened up about missing visits with their oldest.

"Adoption is wild ... Being at the mercy of someone that can say no..." she began, noting, "I know I chose this, there’s no need to tell me!"

Catelynn continued, "I will just never understand how you say that you 'love' us and will always be 'blessed' for us ... BUT you can’t take TWO days out of your entire year to just meet up for dinner and do a park or something small? Especially when we said we would travel to YALL?!"

"I know for me ... people I LOVE and are blessed to have, I MAKE time for! So now we most likely won’t see her until she’s 16 ... And who knows if that will even happen ..."

Tyler later spoke out in defense of his wife after commenters were harsh on her criticism of Carly's parents, Brandon and Teresa, who have been featured in previous episodes of both 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom.

Catelynn and Tyler are also parents to daughters Rya, 3, Vaeda, 5, and Novalee, 9.
