The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall

Riding side by side for the 2018 Trooping the Colour, the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Cornwall were perfectly matched in ice blue outfits and hats. Kate opted for an Alexander McQueen dress with a decorative Juliette Botterill hat, while Camilla wore a silk dress and coat by Bruce Oldfield and a hat by Philip Treacy.

It’s been a busy year for the British royal family.

Between the flurry of royal babies and royal weddings, it’s about time the famous  relatives got together for a good old family day out – and Trooping the Colour 2018 is fixing up to be the perfect setting.

The annual event is hosted in celebration of  Queen Elizabeth II ‘s birthday, where Her Majesty has a chance to inspect her troops before joining the senior members of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Wider members of the royal family attend the annual event, and much like May’s royal wedding, we can’t wait to see what regal outfits they wear to celebrate their matriarch’s birthday.
