Calista Flockhart Jokes About How She Brings Out the Softer Side of Husband Harrison Ford: 'He's Afraid of Me'

Calista Flockhart has her methods and she's sticking to them!
The Ally McBeal alum, 59, opened up about her relationship with husband Harrison Ford on Wednesday's episode of Live with Kelly and Mark. Kelly Ripa mentioned their recent outing at the Critics Choice Awards, where Ford, 81, was honored with a career achievement award.
"Dare I say you bring out the soft, puppy-dog side of Harrison Ford that we mortals might not necessarily know is there," Ripa, 53, told her guest.
"He's afraid of me," Flockhart jokingly whispered. "I'm just saying."

Ford accepted his award to a standing ovation from the room after a video compilation featuring some of his biggest film successes played.
"First of all, I'm really happy to be here tonight to see what our business is turning into, and all of the talented people who are getting opportunities that probably wouldn't have existed in the early part of my career," said the Indiana Jones legend.
Ford also took time to express gratitude for his partner. "I want to thank my lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support," he said. "And I need a lot of support."
Both Ford and Flockhart appeared to tear up during the reference to their marriage.
"It’s an emotional thing," the actress said on Live Wednesday, addressing the touching moment. "You know, his body of work is so incredible and it’s so well-deserved. So yeah, I feel very proud of him and happy for him."

Asked what her favorite movie of her husband's is, Flockhart said 1986's Mosquito Coast, but gave some love to Working Girl (1988) as well.
"I love Working Girl because he’s very funny, and Harrison is very funny. He’s surprisingly funny," the actress told Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos.
"I watch it with her and she loves it so that makes me love it," Consuelos, 52, said of his wife.
Flockhart walked the Feud: Capote vs. The Swans red carpet solo on Tuesday night, but she told PEOPLE during the event that her husband supports her in "so many ways."
"He supports me a lot. It’s a mutual thing," she added.
