The basketball star attended a dinner for TIME after the magazine named her "Athlete of the Year"
Caitlin Clark just scored a style slam dunk in Prada.
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the 22-year-old WNBA star attended the A Year in TIME dinner in New York City at Current in Chelsea Piers, wearing a custom gown from the luxury brand.
The Indiana Fever guard, who was just named TIME’s Athlete of the Year, wore a custom version of Prada’s embroidered sablé mini-dress, opting for a floor-length gown instead.
Her black, loose fitting garment featured a plunging V-shaped neckline that upped the wow factor.
Clark wore strappy black stilettos and accessorized with both silver and black rings and bracelets as she smiled for photos on the red carpet with her hands on her hips. She went for natural makeup and both silver stud and mini hoop earrings.

The basketball player’s hair was pulled back with a sleek middle part, adding elegance to her overall look.
When she turned to the side to show off the back of her gown, silver embellished straps with flowers ran from her shoulder to her waist. The straps ended in mini black bows.
In some photos, she held up images from her TIME magazine shoot.
“I tell people I feel like the most controversial person,” Clark said in her interview with the outlet. “But I am not. It’s just because of all the storylines that surround me. I literally try to live and treat everybody in the same exact respectful, kind way. It just confuses me at times.”
