Brooke Shields, 54, flaunts abs in bikini on New Year's holiday

Brooke Shields has rung in the New Year in style, heading into 2020 rocking some seriously smoking bikini looks.

The 54-year-old has been sharing bikini snaps from her Caribbean holiday proving that age is just a number.

“Ready to spend the last day of the year at the beach,” she said sharing a snap of herself in a bikini on NYE.

Fans flooded her account with comments like ‘beautiful’ and ‘flawless’, with plenty of fire emojis thrown in for good measure.

A few days earlier she shared another snap walking out of the ocean in Puerto Rico, which also sent her followers into a spin.

“Another blue lagoon,” she captioned the shot, throwing back to her lead role as Emmeline Lestrange in the 1980s hit The Blue Lagoon.

“Shut the f*** up,” actor Alan Cumming commented.

Last week she shocked fans with a video of herself and a trainer at Iconoclast Fitness in New York, showing off her incredible fitness skills.

The clip shows Brooke doing crunches while completely suspended in the air, hanging on to her trainer and using her legs as support.

“Defying gravity at the gym today. Still feeling the burn,” Brooke captioned the clip.

And as if the first video weren't impressive enough, the former Calvin Klein model also included a second video that shows her doing an inverted squat while hanging upside down with her feet in gravity books.

Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to praise the star’s show of strength. Jaime Camil, whom Brooke acted alongside during her Jane the Virgin guest role, left a clapping emoji and a raised hands emoji. And Shields's Law & Order: SVU co-star Ryan Buggle commented with three muscle-flexing emoji.

The comments from fans were just as positive. "Wow, wow, wow! You’re making us 50s gals proud! Well done you!" one person commented.

"You are a superwoman," another person wrote.

And it isn't the first time she's showed off her workout routine and toned body. In July, the Blue Lagoon actor posted a video and photo of herself in a bikini while enjoying a day out on the water.
