Yahoo Lifestyle Brody Jenner Reveals Caitlyn Jenner Gave Him a "Sincere Apology" for Being "Abandoned" During 'KUWTK'
Brody Jenner opened up about his relationship with Caitlyn Jenner during Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and said the reality star recently apologized for making Brody feel abandoned for the Kardashians.
“I had an incredible mother," Brody said, via People, going on to explain that Caitlyn wasn't around "that much" due to falling in love with Kris Jenner and starting a family with her.
And when asked how he felt about Caitlyn spending so much time with the Kardashians (and filming their long-running show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians), Brody said “To be honest, a little bit abandoned." He also noted that Caitlyn was going through her own struggles "transitioning and it was all that was put on TV," and that "there were these moments that we would have that was all filmed, and it just felt very invasive and not very genuine, I would say."
“Just recently, I got a real, sincere apology,” he added. “It was the first time in my life that I've ever gotten an apology. You know, I'm sorry for not being there, and honestly, it meant a lot.”
Brody also spoke about becoming a father, saying “I think when you have kids, you need to accept a little bit of responsibility that the things you do are also going to reflect on them as well. I think it really has shaped me to do everything different and to really be there and to be present to my little girl.”
