It's no surprise that Patrick is sharpening up his hair-braiding skills as he and his wife, who are also parents to 2-year-old Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes II, are expecting their third baby together. The new baby is a girl, the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on July 19.
The couple found out about the baby's sex by having their daughter Sterling play a game of Tic-Tac-Toe, revealing three pink Xs in a row.
Following the special moment, pink smoke and matching confetti fell from the air as Sterling held up a "big sister" flag.
That same month, Patrick revealed during a press conference why he wanted to start his family at a young age.

Noting that Brittany “does a great job” of being a wife and a mother, he said that the two still "go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things."
