Britney Spears bares all in return to Instagram after saying she won't return to music industry

The singer has shared she's a 'ghostwriter' and prefers it that way instead of releasing her own music.

Britney Spears has been enjoying some time in French Polynesia, showing off her toned physique by stripping down in a series of sexy images.

The 42-year-old singer left little to the imagination as she served fans some nude photos, with carefully placed emojis covering her private parts to avoid violating any Instagram rules.

“Just landed in French Polynesia!!!” she simply captioned one photo, before uploading a video of her dancing while wearing a sheer, yellow dress.

The star, who now has a private account, recently said she would not make a return to the music industry before taking her Instagram account down for a brief period.

"When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people... I’ve written over 20 songs for other people the past two years... I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way," Britney said when addressing her return to music.

Her joyous return to the 'gram saw her share the nude snaps and dancing video, captioning the dancing on with: "Dancing like I should everyday of my life!!!”

Britney addressed her Instagram presence in her bestselling 2023 memoir, The Woman In Me, saying it was an expression of freedom following her 13-year conservatorship and over two decades in the public eye being hounded by paparazzi and having her every move scrutinised.

“I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses,” she wrote.

"But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture, doing whatever I want with it.”
