Brian Henderson: 'I’ve beaten cancer three times... And I’ll beat it again!’

Beloved TV great Brian Henderson is in the midst of a new cancer scare - but the upbeat Gold Logie winner is confident he'll kick the dreaded disease again, thanks to the love of his cherished wife and family.

"This is my fourth cancer stoush, so I’m beginning to feel I’ve endured more than my fair share," jokes the ever- humble Hendo, as he hugs his beautiful wife Mardi.

"I’ve survived battles with bowel, prostate and skin cancer, this time around it’s throat cancer. Fortunately, the prognosis looks good, thanks to early detection. So I’m remaining cautiously optimistic," says Brian, 83, in his famously smooth tones.

"I felt something wasn’t quite right with my throat, so I saw a specialist in October and tests revealed cancer. I’m just about to start the therapy, which, in my case, now won’t involve surgery.
