Brad Pitt The New Face Of Chanel No. 5
Actor Brad Pitt has reportedly been appointed the new face of Chanel’s iconic No. 5 perfume.
Previously represented by the likes of Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tatou and Keira Knightley, the fragrance is typically associated with feminine elegance, but it seems the brand may be making a play for the male market by appointing Pitt.
According to The Australian, a spokeswoman for Chanel refused to comment on speculation that it had appointed the actor with a view to launching a male version of No 5 – “although analysts said that it could be a smart move.”
Pitt is reportedly being paid up to seven figures to appear in the adverts for the fragrance, with a photoshoot reportedly scheduled for an unknown date in London.
