Brad Pitt Super Bowl introBrad Pitt is calling for Americans to huddle up for the 2025 Super Bowl.
Just before the Kansas City Chiefs met the Philadelphia Eagles on the field, the Oscar-winner took centerstage to pay tribute not to the sport, but to all that it represents. Namely, he put his acting chops to work to deliver a tribute to American unity and its connection to football.
A pre-recorded video saw Pitt ascend an elevator in Los Angeles' Bradbury Building, before dramatically exiting to begin his speech.
"Today, we celebrate the urgency of now, the thrill of what’s next, the glory of this game, and we do it as one" 🇺🇸

"Today, we come together. Not just these players and coaches, or these teams and sides. We, all of us — the dreamers, the warriors, the builders and believers — brought together to celebrate our greatest game," Pitt began. "The game that teaches us what we can achieve when we gather together, in that most American of formations. The one most fundamental to every play call in ever game… the huddle."

As the F1 star spoke, the video cycled through footage of various groups huddled together, including doctors around a patient, firefighters before a fire engine, young students in a classroom and, of course, players on a football field.

"When we are bound by a common goal, we've reached heights, authored achievements, pushed progress not alone but together, in ways that have lifted the world and one another. The huddle is a metaphor for our history, for the power found in our shared purpose."
Later footage also highlighted recent tragedies that have struck the country, including Hurricane Helene and the L.A. wildfires that devastated thousands across the county. To that end, Pitt argued that unity is more important than ever, to inspire "hope" and "strength."
He added, "The huddle is just a rough circle, a simple oval, a crowd of 11… or a country of more than 3,000 million on the field and across the land. It's the place where we meet, eye to eye, shoulder to shoulder. In that space, we are the same, bound by the promise and driven by the pledge to chase the prize."

Turning his attention back towards game day, Pitt said, "Isn't that union at the core of this day, and this glorious, chaotic, exasperating experiment that is us? As we convene with our circles today, as we witness a piece of our culture play out, we honor the way these players compete, so their teams might prevail. Today, we celebrate the urgency of now, the thrill of what's next, the glory of this game, and we do it as one."
He concluded, "It's time, America, to huddle up. It's time for the Super Bowl."
Pitt is also embracing sports on the big screen, with his upcoming Formula One racing thriller F1, which hails from Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. Due to hit theater on June 27, a trailer for the film arrived on Sunday, just in time for the Super Bowl. Pitt stars as a retired driver training a rookie prodigy for the Apex Grand Prix race.
