Body of Second Sister Who Vanished on Night Walk 25 Days Ago Found Hours After Her Sibling's Body Was Recovered
Police in Scotland shared that while they haven't made an official identification, they informed the family of 32-year-old Eliza Huszti

Missing 32-year-old sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti from Aberdeen, ScotlandA second body has been found near where two sisters went missing in Scotland in early January after going on a night walk.
The discovery came on Friday, Jan. 31, after police announced they'd discovered remains they believe belonged to Henrietta Huszti, 32. Now investigators believe they've found the remains of Eliza Huszti, 32, as well.
According to a statement from Scotland Police, officers discovered the body in the River Dee in an area of the river near to the Victoria Bridge around 9:00 p.m. local time in the city of Aberdeen. Although the woman has not been officially identified, police wrote that "the family of Eliza Huszti...who had been reported missing in the area on Tuesday, [Jan. 7], has been informed."
"Our thoughts remain with the Huszti family and we are keeping them fully updated following these recoveries," Police Superintendent David Howieson added in the statement. "We know how much of an impact this has had in Aberdeen and much further afield and I would like to thank everyone who has assisted with our investigation.”
Police added that officers are still investigating, but "there are no apparent suspicious circumstances."

Police previously announced that a body was spotted in the River Dee around 7:55 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31. The location where the body was located was not far from where siblings Eliza and Henrietta were last seen on CCTV in the early hours of Jan. 7.

In a statement obtained by PEOPLE, police confirmed that although the woman had "yet to be formally identified, the family of Henrietta Huszti, 32...has been informed."
At the time of the discovery, police reiterated that although their investigation remained ongoing, there was "nothing to suggest any suspicious circumstances or criminality."
"Our thoughts are with the Huszti family today. We are keeping them fully updated following this recovery and the further search activity which is ongoing," Howieson said at the time, adding that they remained focused on "finding both sisters."

The news came days after Howieson said that searches surrounding the River Dee and Harbour area had come to an end.
"Extensive and detailed searches have been carried out of the River Dee and the Harbour area, using local and national specialist police resources, including the dive and marine unit, police dogs and air support, and those of partner agencies," the officer said at the time.
However, after the first body was found, police said that they would be focusing on searching the River Dee "in the coming days."

The sisters — who have a triplet — were last seen on CCTV footage on Market Street at the Victoria Bridge near the River Dee in Aberdeen at around 2:12 a.m. local time on Jan. 7.
Per the BBC, the Victoria Bridge and Queen Elizabeth Bridge, where the first body was recovered, are about half a mile apart.
