Yahoo Lifestyle Bill Belichick, 72, Is ‘Impressing’ Girlfriend Jordon Hudson, 24, With New Career Update
Bill Belichick was on the receiving end of some serious praise from his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after the football coach shared a new career update with his fans on social media.
As the eight-time Super Bowl champion announced on Friday, Jan. 31, he will be releasing a new book titled The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football this spring. The book, which Belichick said will include “stories, philosophies, and principles from my journey and career thus far,” is expected out on May 6.
“My life in football over the last 49+ years involved a lot of winning, losing, and more than anything: learning,” Belichick wrote in his Friday Instagram post, which also featured a view of his forthcoming book’s cover. “I have learned from all of the teams I was apart [sic] of since early childhood, from my players, competitors, and colleagues in the NFL, and from coaches and players at UNC and the U.S. Naval Academy alongside my beloved father.”
The 72-year-old said his “hope” for those who read the book once it comes out is that they will “learn about what I learned in the NFL about sustained success, leadership, and what it means to be a team player.”
“You can make use of those extractable lessons in your own life, no matter what type of TEAM you are apart [sic] of,” he added.
Hudson, who took her relationship with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s new head coach public last year, shared his post on Instagram Stories and penned a sweet message of her own.
“Witnessing your growth this year has been both an honor and a blessing,” Hudson, 24, wrote. “Just when I think you couldn’t possibly impress me more than you already have; here you go again, impressing me.”
Beneath her first message, she added a second that read, “I love learning from you & I love, love, love loving you.” She tagged Belichick in the Story with one final note, writing, “Congratulations.”
