Big W drops new summer range and one $25 dress is already flying off shelves
The budget retailer has something for every occasion, from just $2.50.
There's nothing like a summer wardrobe refresh to prepare for the sun-filled days ahead. But when you can find chic outfits on a budget, it's even better.
To the surprise of many shoppers, that's exactly what they're finding at Aussie budget retailer Big W.
The store's new summer range has just dropped, and there's one "must-have" item that customers are scrambling to get their hands on: the $25 &me Women's Rib Knit Dress.
The form-fitting dress was recently featured on fashion influencer Genevieve Cheah's Instagram page as a wardrobe staple this season. "Absolutely love the neutral colours and the versatile styles in store at the moment, perfect for dressing up or down," she wrote alongside a video of her top picks from Big W's new collection.
Fans instantly went wild for the rib knit number. "The terracotta rib dress — yes, please!!!" one excited fan wrote. "That brown dress is so stunning," stated another, while a third added "BRB on our way to Big W!"

Customers are raving about the seriously extensive range, which includes dresses from $25, sandals from $12, sun hats from $10 and everyday basics from $2.50.
Celebrity stylist and mum Rebecca James has teamed up with Big W to launch their new pieces, saying this year's summer style is all about having a good amount of basics in your wardrobe.
"Denim skirts or shorts like the The 1964 Denim Company Women's Wide Hem Short - Bay Wash ($25) and a tank are super chic this summer. It's the perfect look when you can't think of anything else to pop on. Simply add your accessories, and you're ready to go," Rebecca said.
Colourful prints and textured fabrics are also top of her list when picking summer dresses. "After the cooler months, this is our dopamine hit. Think bright colour blocking and prints. Experiment with your style and show off your personality by mixing and matching colours and prints this summer," she added.
Some of her favourite new Big W pieces include the &me Women's Linen Blend Wrap Dress in Coral and the &me Women's Floral Print Split Front Dress.
According to Helen Hari, Senior Designer for Womenswear at Big W, affordability and lightweight flowing fabrics were top of mind when putting the collection together. "As we head into summer, Big W wanted to design a collection of affordable pieces capturing trend-inspired prints with effortless silhouettes mixed with lightweight fabrics ready for the warmer weather. From floral midis and linen-blend wraps to rib knit and shirt dresses, there is something for everyone this summer at Big W."
