Big Brother winner Chad Hurst shows off dramatic transformation

Just over a year ago Aussie model Chad Hurst was crowned the winner of Big Brother Australia and took home $230,000 in prize money.

Now the personal trainer has shocked his followers with a rather different look to the one he became known for on our TV screens.

Some of his Instagram followers may have been shocked on Wednesday when he shared a selfie showing off his now long hair and scruffy beard.

"Day 100 lockdown..." he captioned the snap.

The 28-year-old had previously sported a much shorter hairdo and stubble, as opposed to a full grown beard. He infamously blurted out the F-word on live TV after being crowned the winner of the Channel Seven show last year.

Despite winning a cool $234K, Chad said last month he's still working seven days a week as a model and personal trainer.

"I'm doing everything; it's killing me and I can't wait to have a day off to be honest," he told The Daily Telegraph.

"But it's not really work because I have such a passion for PT and modelling."

Chad's new look comes after another unrecognisable winner of Big Brother resurfaced recently, also looking a far cry from the head-band wearing 22-year-old that Aussies fell in love with way back in 2006.

Jamie Brooksby from Western Australia took out Season 6 of the reality series pocketing $426,000 in prize money, and was also well known for his romance with co-star Katie Hastings.

The now 37-year-old is a property developer and has swapped the peroxide blonde locks and hair accessories for a more rugged aesthetic.

In a recent interview with TV Week, Jamie said he hadn't been watching the revamped version Big Brother, but admitted he would be open to a reality TV return.

"It's certainly crossed my mind. I might be showing my age but do they still air Ready Steady Cook? I'd be OK at that," Jamie said, before adding, “Am I too much of a has-been to give I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! a go?”
