Destiny's Child may not be back together musically, but their latest reunion has fans celebrating all the same. The occasion? Kelly Rowland's 44th birthday party, which comes just one year after the trio got together for her husband's 50th back in 2024.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate Rowland's big day, Beyoncé posted a photo of the trio with the caption "Birthday bestie 🎂." The birthday girl opted for a chic blue velvet halter dress; Michelle Williams, meanwhile, shimmered in a red sequined gown complete with a leg slit. The highlight, however, was Beyoncé's look: a vintage Patrick Kelly minidress embroidered with dozens of gold buttons and made all the more dramatic by shoulder pads and a cinched waist.

Destiny's Child, of course, was a fixture of both pop and R&B music in the late '90s and early aughts. After disbanding in 2006, the trio's first reunion came at the 2013 Super Bowl; they also joined forces again for a special 2018 performance at Coachella. With regard to the latter, Pitchfork called the show a "career-defining performance," while Vulture dubbed it an "instant classic." It was received with such fervor it became a movie (Homecoming) and a live album, the latter of which landed at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Since then, Rowland and Williams have continued to support Beyoncé in her solo music career, joining the "Single Ladies" singer for the premiere of her film, Renaissance, in 2023.
"The Renaissance film is NOT TO BE MISSED PERIOD!" Rowland wrote on Instagram at the time. "Truly inspired! #im so proud of you BB!"
