The Best 7 Movies To Stream In December 2024

In addition to four festive new Christmas films that landed on Netflix last month, several new films, including many that originally debuted in theaters, will be available to stream in December 2024.

Box office sensations like It Ends With Us and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will arrive on Max and Netflix, respectively. For the best new films streaming in December 2024, read on below.

The small town of Wellington-on-Sea is in for a different kind of Christmas as a big blizzard separates families who celebrate Christmas together and presents Santa Claus with a few challenges to fix with his gifts. Ed Sheeran wrote a song for the film, out on Netflix Dec. 4.

Fly Me to the Moon – Apple TV+

This Apple Original Film directed by Greg Berlanti stars Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum. Johansson portrays marketing specialist Kelly Jones, who is tasked with promoting NASA’s historic Apollo 11 landing. She becomes entangled in a romance with Tatum’s launch director Cole Davis, who gets asked to stage a fake moon landing for backup as the mission looms closer. The space comedy landed in theaters July 12.

After it blossomed at the box office, It Ends With Us starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni based on the best-selling book by Colleen Hoover will arrive on Netflix to stream Dec. 9. Many songs accompany Taylor Swift’s “my tears ricochet” on the soundtrack of a story about domestic violence.
