Bella Hadid is leading the boho chic revival ahead of festival season
Have you noticed there's been a bit of a...vibe shift? The blingy, Y2k looks we're been loving have been replaced by something waaaay more laid-back: turn-of-the-millenium nostalgia has been eclipsed by the allure of the late 00s/early 10s.
Don't believe us? Well, let us make the case: ballet flats are back, skinny jeans are have a resurgence and indie sleaze looks are in! There's also been a definite return to the boho, breezy look of 2007 with belly chains, evil eye rings, and 70s retro clothing all the rage.
Yep, celebs like EmRata have been rocking the boho chic look like Sienna Miller at Glasto and now supermodel Bella Hadid has cemented the trend's return in a major way.
Fresh from repping a gorgeous see-through, vintage Dior dress and an office siren skort skirt ensemble, Bella was spotted in NYC looking like an extra from Daisy Jones & The Six. Attending an Orebella pop-up in the West Village, the super model strutted her stuff in a floaty pink and white dress with floral print.
The calf-length dress featured an airy cape effect, flowing sleeves and a statement fabric floral corsage. She accessorised with a pair of nude stiletto sandals, a tiny gold clutch and poker straight hair.
We can't help but be a little obsessed with this retro luxe look. And could it contain a hint towards what Bella might be wearing for the Met Gala on Monday?
Only time can tell but, for now, she certainly looks fabulous!
