Ayo Edebiri's new fashion shoot is her most daring – and sexy – yet
We're only a couple of weeks into January, but it's already become *very* clear that 2024 is going to be a big year for Ayo Edebiri. If you're anything like us, you'll have already admired her brilliant acting in the first two seasons of hit TV show The Bear – in which the 28-year-old plays Sydney alongside the hunky Jeremy Allen White as Carmy. And we're not the only ones to have been bowled over by her talent: in the past few weeks alone, Ayo has won a Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award and an Emmy for the role. Talk about a strong start to the year!
But it's not just her on-screen persona that's got people talking... Ayo Edebiri is fast shaping up to be a serious fashionista, too. Having already nailed her first major Hollywood awards show of the season in a glorious red strapless Prada gown last week, Ayo topped the best dressed lists once again with her dramatic black leather dress at last night's Emmys – and now, she's only gone and proven our point once more by posing on the cover of Sunday Times Style magazine in not one but *three* ultra-stylish looks.
In a preview of Sunday's magazine that was shared on Instagram, Ayo can be seen fully embracing the high-fashion aesthetic in a series of designer outfits – and we're fully obsessed. In the first, she wears a beautiful white netted gown by Dior that's so see-through it shows off her matching white undies beneath, while a second shot shows her rocking a white mesh, gold and blue Louis Vuitton mini-dress with kitten heels. Our fave of the lot, however, has to be Ayo in Bottega Veneta...
Fashion obsessives might recognise Ayo's look from the Italian brand's most recent SS24 fashion show finale: a knitted, net-like maxi dress covered in huge fuzzy pom-poms that sent the front row wild. Iconic.
Other pics from the shoot also show Ayo switching her signature red carpet elegance for a something a lil' more sexy, as she can be seen posing in the likes of a black-and-white Valentino mini complete with XXL corsage flowers appliquéd at the cups, a sheer chainmail Prada dress, and best of all, a see-through, red crystal-covered Ferragamo gown with no bra and high-waist briefs. YES, chef!
