Aussie model's hilarious Instagram 'fail'
Aussie model Robyn Lawley is channelling every mum having a bad day in her latest Instagram post, and we’re loving it.
The international runway model is celebrated for her gorgeous curves and glamorous magazine covers, but her latest Instagram post shows a different side to the working mum’s life.
Robyn poses in a bikini in a snap posted to Instagram, but her photo is somewhat ruined by the tiny hand reaching up, inexplicably holding a sock.
The perils of a wayward sock are rarely discussed in mainstream media, but an unsupervised sock has been known to instantly dampen sex appeal, and turn a well thought out photoshoot into a laughing stock.
This is no different, and the photo has us in stitches - and it’s only made funnier by the crossed arms, and look of exasperation the veteran model shoots the camera.
“When you’re trying to take ‘model polaroids’ and your baby has another idea,” Robyn captioned the hilarious post.
“Here’s my body in its natural state, I love a good fake tan now and then but here’s my skin in its natural glory,” she added.
Robyn is famous for celebrating her body in a way that defies often rigid industry standards, and this image is no different.
People have rushed to react to the photo, dubbing it the ultimate ‘mum life’ post.
“Thank you for sharing such a precious Mummy moment ... this is too adorable,” wrote one fan.
“True depiction of #mumlife,” said another.
Others wondered whether the little hand was actually busy at work.
“So cute...your own little assistant,” wrote one woman.
Another simply wrote, ‘#supermum’ while many were just blown away.
“Wow! You’re such an inspiration!” one fan gushed.
The hand in question belongs to Robyn’s daughter Ripley, who she shares with partner Everest Schmidt.
The model has previously opened up about health issues she faced after to birth of her daughter, which prompted her decision to rule out adding any more children to the family.
