Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Are "Still in the Honeymoon Phase" of Their Relationship
They're feeling "pure bliss" following the 'Wicked' press tour.
Couples who work together, stay together—at least, seemingly such is the case for Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater whose relationship has reportedly only gotten stronger since starring in Wicked together.
According to a source close to the couple, the pair—who have been dating for more than a year—are currently in a state of "pure bliss" amid their joint film's box office success. “The Wicked press tour made their relationship ever stronger, and Ariana is over the moon about Ethan,” the insider shared with Us Weekly. “They have so much in common, which is something Ari never had with past relationships.”
The source added that the actors are "still in the honeymoon phase" of their relationship and are "inseparable" and "living in bliss."
A second insider explained that Grande's romance with Slater is "a new dynamic" for the singer, revealing that she's happy to be taking things slow. “Ariana is not rushing to get married again,” they said. “She feels she is content with how things are now and it’s a really healthy situation. Ariana used to move really quickly in relationships and has learned to slow down.”
While marriage might not be on the table anytime soon, Grande and Slater are "practically living together" in New York City and "have created a new life together," according to the second source. "She needed a change of pace after her divorce," they continued, noting that Slater is "close" with Grande's mom, Joan, and her brother, Frankie.
Grande was married to real estate broker Dalton Gomez for two years before it was revealed in July 2023 that they separated earlier that same year. Meanwhile, Slater filed for divorce from his ex-wife Lilly Jay after four years of marriage once the news of his relationship with Grande went public.
