Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and other A-listers reportedly cut ties with Scooter Braun: What you need to know
The entertainment guru already has bad blood with Taylor Swift, now there's talk he's fallen out with more big-name stars.
News broke this week that big-name musicians like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have reportedly parted ways with Scooter Braun as their manager.
What you need to know
According to PEOPLE, a source close to Ariana Grande has said: "They are friendly but she's outgrown him and is excited to go in a different direction.”
However, TMZ has reported that “all of Scooter's clients, including Justin and Ariana, are still under contract with his company, SB Projects.”
Demi Lovato has been confirmed to have left Scooter’s management company.
Taylor Swift has been vocal about her distain for Braun, after a dispute with her masters. Braun purchased the masters of her first six albums meaning she no longer owned the creative freedom of her songs.
Swift wrote a post on Tumblr in 2019: “I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world. All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.”

Idina Menzel, who is the voice behind Elsa in Frozen, parted ways with Braun earlier this year.
Ariana Grande has previously parted ways with Scooter Braun, and if true, this will be the second time the thank u, next singer has decided to leave his management.
Braun also represents The Kid LAROI, Black Eyed Peas, Ava Max and Carly Rae Jepsen.
