Anne Hathaway’s silver sequin jumpsuit is giving serious ABBA vibes
It was a busy weekend over in Hollywood, as the great, the good and the very well-dressed of the film industry came together for not one but *three* major awards ceremonies. Kicking off the festivities was the Screen Actors Guild Awards, held on Saturday night in Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall and attended by the likes of Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez and Brie Larson – all of whom, naturally, slayed with their looks for the occasion.
Then came Sunday night with its double whammy of glitzy ceremonies: the Producers Guild Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards – the latter being the most star-studded and seriously stylish of the lot. Think Jessica Chastain in a blue naked dress, Emma Roberts rocking extreme cut-outs, Natalie Portman in a red corsage-covered mini-skirt suit, and Emma Corrin introducing the world to the wonder of green tights.
But it's Anne Hathaway who deserves a special shout-out for her dedication to the cause, attending the SAGs in an epic blue vintage Versace gown on Saturday night before slaying all over again on Sunday...
Arriving at Santa Monica Pier for the 39th annual Independent Spirit Awards, Anne was serving a seriously fabulous combination of bridal and 70s ABBA vibes in a glorious silver jumpsuit covered in sequins and crystal embellishments. It's a design by Anne's go-to luxury Italian brand, Valentino, and the star completed the look with a matching sparkly bag, platform heels, diamond jewellery and a silver chrome mani to boot. Talk about co-ordinated!
We're also low-key obsessed with the avant-garde silver space age sunglasses the actress arrived in, giving the elegant outfit a futuristic edge. Oh, and her head-to-toe yellow-clad arm candy (hellooooo Andrew Scott) ain't half bad either...
