Amy Schumer's attempt to get her son a cute Halloween costume went hilariously awry.

Sharing a Reel on her Instagram on Sunday, Oct. 13, the comedian, 43, revealed that she tried to get her son Gene, 5, a bird Halloween costume, but ended up with the huge head of a mascot instead.

“Hi, hope you’re having a great weekend. I just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I tried to order a Halloween costume for my son to be a bird and by accident I got this,” Schumer says in the video as she pops the giant bird head on.

“So if anybody needs me to homeschool their kid, I just wanted you to know that I’m a totally fit parent.”

In March, Schumer shared a post to Instagram in which she revealed that she consulted a toddler sleep consultant to help her son Gene master a "bedtime routine."

"We’re finally SLEEPING again. Jessica @awesomelittlesleepers helped us create a bedtime routine for our 4 year old and now he’s going to bed 3 hours earlier than he was. We got our nights back," Schumer wrote, alongside a black-and-white photo of her and husband, 44, out on a walk.

"She seriously saved us," Schumer added. "This is not an ad. Just trying to pass on the info that helped us."
