Amy Poehler's Joy Gets Bottled Up by Messy Teenaged Emotions in “Inside Out 2 ”Trailer

Amy Poehler's Joy is facing new emotions.
On Thursday, Disney and Pixar debuted a new trailer for Inside Out 2, the sequel to 2015's Inside Out, which starred Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and an ensemble voice cast as various emotions inside a young girl's head.
Poehler returns for Inside Out 2 as Joy. Phyllis Smith (Sadness) and Lewis Black (Anger) also reprise their roles from the first movie, while Tony Hale steps into the role of Fear for Hader, and Liza Lapira (Crazy Stupid Love) voices Disgust for Kaling.

According to a synopsis, Inside Out 2 revisits Riley "just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions!"
"Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone." Maya Hawke voices Anxiety.
The other newbies are Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos), Envy (Ayo Edebiri) and Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser). June Squibb is also among the voice cast.

Longtime Pixar staffer Kelsey Mann directed Inside Out 2 in his feature-length directorial debut. The film was written by screenwriter Meg LeFauve, who previously received a screenwriting credit on Pixar's 2015 movie The Good Dinosaur.
Inside Out 2 is in theaters in June 14.
