All the TV shows you should be streaming this week

The weather is getting colder, and that means it’s the perfect time to snuggle in and binge watch all the new shows that have recently dropped on Stan, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Here are our recommendations for this week:

Love Life - Stan

Starring Anna Kendrick, Love Life is about the journey from first love to last love and how the people we date in between make us who we are for when we finally end up with the right person. Each season will follow a different protagonist as they search for love with Kendrick leading season one.

Ramy - Stan

Ramy offers a glimpse into the life of a first generation Egyptian-American Muslim living in the politically-divided New Jersey. Throughout the show, Ramy is on a spiritual journey to find out what it means to be a good person – which isn't so easy when you're torn between traditional Muslim teachings, your friends and God, who is always watching. Season two of Ramy is out now.

Schitt's Creek - Netflix

With all seasons of Schitt's Creek now available on Netflix, now is the perfect time to binge watch the series. The show is about the wealthy Johnny Rose and his family who suddenly find themselves broke with their only remaining asset being the small town of Schitt's Creek, which had been purchased as a joke years earlier. The family relocates to Schitt's Creek, leaving their pampered lives behind. Think along the lines of 'what would happen if the Kardashians suddenly found themselves with no money' and you've got Schitt's Creek.

Snowpiercer - Netflix

Based on the movie of the same name, Snowpiercer is a post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller is about passengers on Snowpiercer, a huge train that travels the globe and never stops carrying the last of humanity seven years after the world became a frozen wasteland. While wealthier passengers enjoy a first class experience, the poor struggle to survive. Episodes of Snowpiercer are released weekly.

Little Fires Everywhere - Amazon Prime

Based on Celeste Ng's novel of the same name and starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, Little Fires Everywhere follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and a mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity and the ferocious pull of motherhood.

Homecoming - Amazon Prime

Season two of Homecoming stars Janelle Monae and features a new mystery. Monae's character wakes up in a rowboat in a lake on day with no memory of how she got there or who she is. Her search for her identity leads her to the Geist Group, an unconventional wellness company behind the Homecoming initiative.
