Aldi shoppers swear by this 'awesome' pet item: 'Best investment I’ve ever made'

Dog parents are getting seriously excited over a recent Aldi find that was shared with a popular Facebook group for customers of the budget grocery chain. As you well know, Aldi is the place to go when you want your bag of potatoes with a side of jet ski, and now pet owners are rushing to the aisles for a game-changing device.

One Aldi shopper shared photos and videos of their adorable chocolate lab, who was very patiently being groomed. "For those interested I purchased the Pet Grooming Kit this afternoon," the caption read. "Think it went on sale 3rd July. We have a lab and it's awesome!"

The post was met with over 200 comments and although many of them were purely complimenting the pup for being so well-behaved and cute, there were plenty of Aldi fans who could vouch for the efficacy of the $129 gadget.

"I bought it for my ragdoll cat!" one person wrote. "It’s the best investment I’ve ever made. He was a bit scared of the noise in the beginning now he loves it."

"I bought it for my dog too, it's a Japoodle and he is double coated, it's an amazing little machine," another said.

"Thank you so much for posting this. We are looking at adopting another Labrador and if we do we will definitely get this," added a third person.

Other people expressed their intention to immediately go in search of the grooming kit with comments such as "I want one now!! I hope my Aldi still has some" and "Don’t walk...RUN!!!"

"We brought one today as well, the best money spent!! We removed a small dog from our lab/retriever. The best" was another rave review.

"Oh my gosh definitely need this," another keen shopper wrote.

For those animal lovers with pets that have thicker hair, it seems the pet grooming kit is up to the task as one person inquired if anyone had tried using it on their husky.

"I have," someone replied. "Works amazing for my husky."

"I use this on my long coat saint bernard and can confirm it works like a dream, so anyone asking about long fur - BUY IT," someone else chimed in.

Several other people in the group joked that they needed the machine for themselves. "I need this for myself!! The amount of hair I lose," someone laughed.

Another person said, "We also use this on my husband's back and chest hair! Far less mess!"
